Improving access to basic health services is at the core of each of the functions that Ghiyas Foundation is engaged in. Our priority is to provide easy access to quality health services, especially to marginalised and vulnerable communities.
Community health clinics, mobile diagnostic clinics and regular health camps are conducted in hard-to-reach and far -flung areas to bring basic health services at the doorstep of underserved communities. Basic health check-ups and services are provided to people of Narkatiaganj, West Champaran, Bihar.
Family Poly Clinic and Ortho Physiotherapy Centre
Under this initiative, Ghiyas Foundation provide basic quality health services. Providing access to basic health services so that every individual can exercise his/her fundamental right to health is at the core of all functions and services. The team works to provide easy access to quality health services. Ghiyas Foundation runs clinics and conducts health camps in difficult-to-reach areas to provide key interventions at the community level.
Volunteers belonging to the communities in which Ghiyas Foundation works, forms the backbone of all its interventions. Young women and men are mobilised and trained to build awareness among the people and serve as an important link with doctors and care providers. Government efforts are supplemented and focus on filling gaps rather than recreating programmes that are already existing. Linkages are built with the existing government infrastructure, making referrals to hospitals and helping the government in their immunization drives.
At Family Poly Clinic, the team assisted in the medical treatment of destitute youth, who were suffering from various diseases. The team assisted drug-addiction children in overcoming addiction by providing counseling with the help of trained professionals.
